Loxley Valley/Bradfield - Saturday 26 March - START TIME AMENDED-

Short notice but an old favourite!

(For insurance, and common sense reasons, it is a requirement that people put their names down in advance if they intend to come on a Shamblers Walk.)


Walk: Loxley Valley/Bradfield

Date: Saturday 26 March

Start time: Meet at 1.00 for a 1.15 start

Meeting point: Malin Bridge tram terminus, Hillsborough

Approx distance: Either 4.5 miles, and catch bus back from Bradfield, or 9 miles if walked both ways

Approx duration: 2 hours/4 hours

Route: Malin Bridge to Bradfield via the Loxley Valley!

Terrain: Good paths all the way, one short steep hill half way

Parking: On street parking close to Holme Lane

Refreshments: Pub at Bradfield

Toilets: As above, also public toilets at Bradfield

Public transport: Tram to Malin Bridge. 61 and 62 buses hourly from Bradfield to Hillsborough

Walk Leaders: Tiddlywink

Additional information:


IMPORTANT: Anyone joining the walk should be of a level of fitness relative
to the walk being undertaken, be appropriately dressed, have
suitable footwear, and have with them enough food and drink
for the duration of the walk.
