Froggatt Edge - Sunday 30th December
Description
The walk along Froggett and Curbar Edges is one of the most popular edge walks in the Peak District. This is described as an Moderate walk, which takes in the best of the edges but also a return walk through woodland which run along side the River Derwent and back to the mill which was used as the unlikely double of Colditz Castle in the TV series of the same name.
This is a 7 mile walk

Start time: 10.30am
Meeting point:The Bridge Inn, Calver Bridge
Map Reference:S32 3XA/SK257748
Parking: same as meeting point
Refreshments and Toilets, Grouse Inn.
Public transport: ??????
Walk Leaders: miss chatterbox aka Claire 07719567824 (please note i will not call you back on this number this number is to let me know if you are attending or not attending this walk).
Additional information
New Members please note there is a £2 membership fee needs paying on first walk.
Anyone who is able to offer lifts, could they put this in their post, passengers please note that the driver may wish to join the rest of the group for a drink after the walk, so please bear this mind, thanks. Any passengers receiving a lift to a walk, please offer £3.50 to the driver to cover fuel costs.

i am a bit worried as i am yet to get a lift and i am leading this walk. If some kind soul can offer a snotty nose (as got a bit of cold) a lift please then the walk can then take place.x

I have decided to go on this one - Yellowbelly cannot accompany me due to problems with her foot. Whisper29 & Kev Owls I can pick you up at 9.25 at the Acorn if that is okay. Miss Chatterbox, if you still need a lift I can pick you up at Morrisons at 9.30 - please get back to me.

Well the forecast is looking dry for tomorrow, I won't be able to come as I will be too busy
